Michael J. DeSantis, Esq.
Michael represents a diverse group of clients in the New York and New Jersey state and federal courts. Michael has handled construction, commercial, and wage & hour cases with particular success in the appellate courts, and made case law in Serrano v. Underground, 407 N.J.Super 253, 970 Ad2d 1054 (App Div. 2009). In addition his litigation practice, Michael counsels numerous business entities in every stage of business development from inception to dissolution, and has extensive experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements. Michael also handles trust and estate matters and regularly appears in Surrogate’s Court.
Michael is a member of the Richmond County Bar Association. He has served as a Fee Dispute Arbitrator for the Richmond County Bar Association, a Small Claims Arbitrator for the Civil Court in Richmond County, and a Certified Mediator.
In law school, Michael was president of the Vanderbilt Bar Association, and was awarded the Jordan A. Quick Memorial Award.
