While completing her Master’s Degree at Fordham University School of Law, Shivangi Kumar-Joshi was a judicial intern for the Hon. William Viscovich of the New York State Supreme Court, Queens County. She was also a member of the Fordham Mediation Clinic Program, where she worked as a student mediator and learned to view dispute resolution using methods other than litigation or adversarial tactics, while enhancing her communication and process management skills.
Prior to joining SR&A, Shivangi interned at an active personal injury and medical malpractice law firm, and at a commercial litigation and matrimonial law firm, assisting in all phases of discovery and trial preparation.
Shivangi grew up in India where she was ranked first in her class at Shillong Law College in her final year. She then completed a Master’s Degree of Law at the University of Manchester in International Business and Commercial Law while graduating with distinction in international arbitration before immigrating to the United States.
Shivangi is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Queens County Bar Association and the South Asian Bar Association of New York.
