We also represent security contractors and other vendors serving retail, shopping mall and commercial office properties.
Barry Rothman is a recognized legal authority on shopping center operations and security. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), has served on ICSC’s Security Task Force, which advises the trade organization on policy matters relating to premises security, and on the program planning committee for ICSC Security Conferences, has participated in ICSC’s Security Leadership Summits, and has spoken at ICSC Law Conferences. He also sits on the Board of the NY/NJ Council of Shopping Centers. Barry has published articles and written “white papers” on the topics of shopping center security, public access and retail loss prevention, and provides counsel to clients on risk management and litigation avoidance, particularly through contractual indemnification agreements.
