SR&A partner David Abrams co-moderated a panel discussion on “Defending and Evaluating Psychological and Emotional Injury Claims.” Insurance industry leaders shared their strategies and methods on these issues in cases arising from sexual abuse, in the employment context, and from various accident scenarios. Topics of discussion included factors employed in determining value, mitigating damages, proper use of experts, testing of claim validity, use of social media, and the value of insurance programs managed by experienced professionals, amongst others.
